Wipro Challenged on Forced Leaves

We wrote about IT companies forcing employees to avail their paid leaves during the Christmas/New Year vacation of clients.

Now, Wipro employees from Pune has filed a complaint with the assistant labour commissioner in Pune about this company’s illegal practice. The assistant labour commissioner has asserted that this is illegal and sought an explanation from Wipro.

Wipro employees from Chennai are also planning to take up this matter with the labour department.

    We should have made complaint/filed in Chennai to labour office about shutdown holiday.
    Sometimes sat/sun also they asking to work.
